New kid on the block

Legacy migration ad. Relax.

So. It’s probably about time I introduced myself.

Hello, my name is Vivian. I’m the new(ish) guy around here.

When I was in kindergarten, I told everyone in my class that I was going to grow up to be a cheetah.

In good tradition, started by Brian (who’s still here, so his ploy for pity must’ve worked), I’ve included a childhood picture of myself. I’m not sure why I’m wearing a bucket on my head, but judging by my pose, I must’ve been feeling pretty baller.

I was a strange kid. When I was in kindergarten, I told everyone in my class that I was going to grow up to be a cheetah. I also believed in unicorns and fairies, but that’s an embarrassing story for another day.

Point is, while I didn’t figure out how to manage an interspecies change, being a graphic designer at EMRL is pretty awesome too. I get to make cool things all day, work deep in the trenches with some pretty amazing people, and I don’t have to worry about my carcass baking under the Serengeti sun. Having an office cat is another nice bonus too.

My inner 4-year-old bucket-wearing self is definitely stoked to be a member of this dysfunctional family.

  • It’s a little weird that you wear that same outfit to work a lot, but we’ll overlook that.

  • And here I thought the bucket was because you were such a big fan of Devo. Which probably makes no sense to you due to your youth. This is going to be a tough blog to follow! ;)

  • You are a lucky man. You are working for a great group of gals and guys, not to mention, the cat. Have fun, as you will, and have 5Lbs of beer on me.
