/nerdrage

I hate the internet. Hate it hate it hate it. Only websites like this give me hope that this medium is good for anything other than checking movie times, and maybe ebay. Well not really, but crappy Microsoft products are sending me into a terrible case of nerdrage.

A comment from a client brought to my attention that our website was bugging out in the current version of Internet Explorer, sending itself into an infinte page-loading feedback loop. I had no idea – we haven’t been using IE for anything other than last-minute compatibility checking.

So I re-checked our site through some code validators and got back good results, so started wasting time trying to find the lowest common denominator so I could make our website Microsoft’s bitch.

Well, the awesome irony of all this, is that the code that was breaking our site for IE was code that was used to validate itself against w3.org‘s site checkers (which of course said everything was fine.)

Ow my head.

  • I’m tempted to say “what a load of crap!” just for the sake of irony, but I’ll refrain

  • This straightforward conflict of passion has highlighted a struggle for power that is largely in charge.

  • There are some trainers that are just the same dimension at both ends and by doing this it would not matter besides hooking it. The hooks ought to get on the exact same side that switches would be on your shirt.
