I went to the ATM near the EMRL earlier today to get money for lunch. Wasn’t really paying attention to anything other than getting my money… just minding my own business. I started getting the feeling I was being watched, and noticed in the ATM safety mirror thingie that this woman nearby was staring at me and kept doing so for a while.
I figured it was because my pants were too short or something, like usual, but this time, it wasn’t that – it was something much much cooler.
My iPhone had started playing the film “Clueless” at top volume from my pocket, and I hadn’t noticed.
She was staring at me because she’d noticed my iPhone had started playing the film “Clueless” at top volume from my pocket, and I hadn’t noticed. It was a part of the film where Cher and her dad were arguing about something (probably which dress she could wear to the party) so it was quite loud, I just hadn’t noticed yet.
After I turned off the movie, I thought about the implications of me being clueless that Clueless was playing in my pocket, like some sort of self-reflexive imploding black hole of clueless-ness. And then I enjoyed my lunch.
