A Sense of Scale

During this last week, I’ve spent some time trying to figure out why our online Project/Task Management thingie is running kind of slow. What that means is I’ve been looking in the weird nerd-y code-y stuff that lurks beneath the face of the system that we normally interact with.

We’ve worked on 1,378 tasks, chatted back and forth 3,942 times and logged 12,260 work sessions.

That nerdy stuff is not meant for humans to see, and it can’t be unseen either. Anyhow, I saw some numbers in there that really made me shocked!

We’ve been using this system for about a year and a half, and during that time it appears we’ve worked on 1,378 tasks, chatted back and forth 3,942 times (I had no idea we were so communicative) and logged separate work sessions 12,260 times. Wow. And that’s with me often times forgetting to keep track of whatever the hell it is I’m supposed to be doing that moment.

Anyhow I thought it would be a nice moment to say “Thank you” to all our wonderful clients for being rad and wanting to work with us, we’ve loved every 302,885 minutes of it. Thanks!
